Our seasonal tea is specially blended with herbs that are especially popular
in the spring and summer time. Take daily from spring on to enjoy the protective
health benefits of herbs.
Our loose leaf herbal tea containing a blend of Chamomile flowers,
Nettle leaves, Liquorice root, Elder flowers and Eyebright herb.
It tastes delicious both hot and taken cold, on ice, as a refreshing iced
tea.
Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright herb)
Matricaria recutita (Chamomile flowers)
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice root)
Sambucus nigra (Elder flowers)
Urtica dioca (Nettle leaf)
Two teaspoons of herb to a large teapot of boiling water. Allow to steep for 5-10 minutes. Strain and add honey or lemon to taste.
Many teas are sold in teabags these days. Our Napiers herbal teas are not and there are good reasons why not. A teabag only contains around 2 or 3 grams of very dry, finely chopped or powdered herbs. We believe that not chopping herbs into tiny pieces, which dries out their natural oils, helps to preserve their beneficial goodness.
We also like to vary the strength of our teas. We all come in different
shapes, states or sizes, and so does our taste and need for a good cup
of tea!
It’s very easy to use loose tea and no trees are chopped down to make the paper for a tea bag! Use a tea strainer or tea ball.
Compost loves loose too!
All our herbal teas are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Our herb teas are grown on approved farms, or are sustainably gathered from the wild, and are free from artificial chemicals and pesticides.
