Stress Control

Many of life’s circumstances can be a source of stress (e.g. moving home, bereavement, etc) and our bodies reaction to those events (the symptoms of stress) may often feel frightening or unpleasant. 

The individual’s intensity of response to stress can also be heightened by other ongoing and simultaneously present concerns e.g. relationship issues, work worries, etc.

Unhelpful or irrational thoughts may often contribute to the feelings of discomfort suffered. Stress Control or Stress Management is available to help the individual to cope, to function effectively and to regain control during these difficult periods in a way that is both positive for them and geared to their particular needs.
