Approach to Treatment

Sarah has a sensitive and holistic approach to treatment, focusing on treating the individual rather than just the condition. Sarah enjoys treating a wide variety of health issues but has a particular interest in treating skin problems, anxiety and depression, and women's health issues.

Initial consultations last 50 minutes allowing time to look at current health problems in detail, take a full medical history and assess other factors such as medication, diet and lifestyle. At the end of the initial consultation Sarah will formulate a herbal prescription specifically tailored to the individual’s needs, alongside other recommendations. Sarah is fully trained to prescribe herbal treatment safely alongside conventional medication. The first follow up consultation is usually arranged 4 weeks later to assess progress, and to make any adjustments necessary to the treatment plan. Further follow up sessions are booked as deemed necessary.

In her practice Sarah supports the protection of endangered plant species and uses indigenous plant species where possible. She has a keen interest in the latest scientific research into herbal medicine.

Sarah has recently returned from maternity leave and is now available for Saturday appointments monthly at Bristo Place. She can be contacted between appointments by phone or email.
