Approach to TreatmentAcupuncture is a holistic treatment and people come for treatment for many conditions. When you come to see Quintus you will be asked quite a lot of questions in order to evaluate your health picture and to design a treatment plan specific to you and your needs. During treatment Quintus will use sterile needles that are used only for the session and discarded afterwards. When a needle is inserted you may feel the needle; the sensation is often like a tugging feeling or a dull ache, the needles can be left in for up to 20 minutes or sometimes inserted for only a few seconds. This is your treatment and everything that happens in the session will be discussed with you.
