Gail Brewster
After graduating with a degree in Sociology in 1997 and spending some time abroad I found that my interests were being drawn increasingly towards a career in complementary medicine. At that time I was a patient at Napiers myself and my own aromatherapist recommended an accredited school in Falkirk, where I was able to study part-time towards a Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy. I graduated from the Academy of Aromatherapy and Massage in 2000 and began to practise from Napiers in 2001. As my practise has built up I have become interested in other therapies that offer a holistic approach towards healthcare, and often apply these alongside massage to obtain the optimum results for each patient. I specialise in treating disorders of the nervous system including stress, anxiety, depression and the associated muscular aches and pains that often accompany these conditions. Treatment is very much tailored towards the individual and can be presented using therapeutic massage techniques or as a pure relaxation therapy. I am also a qualified teacher in adult education, experienced in delivering complementary health workshops to local community groups and lecturing in aromatherapy at a national level. My regular clinics are held on Fridays and Saturdays at our Bristo Place branch in Edinburgh. Please call the Napiers Bristo Place clinic on 0131 225 5542to book an appointment or for more information. www.napiers.net |
