Dawn qualified as an RGN from Lothian College Of Nursing And Midwifery in 1995 and, after a period of traveling, worked as a Staff Nurse in the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, with periods at A & E. Dawn has lived and worked in a range of medical fields in countries including Hong Kong and New Zealand. Dawn has always been aware of Complementary Therapies and their valued place amongst traditional medicine, and wanted to incorporate these therapies into her working life. She has studied short courses in Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Reflexology, has a qualification in Sports and Relaxation Massage and has a broad range of greatly practised Cosmetic skills including IPL and LASER, Botox, Restylane, Sculptra, Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels. Dawn qualified with a Diploma from The British College Of Colonic Hydrotherapy in 2006, and is a member of the Guild Of Colonic Hydrotherapists. She has been working in this field ever since and finds it a popular and effective therapy with very obvious physical, as well as emotional, benefits. Dawn also has a strong interest in nutrition,health and sport and to compliment the Colonic Hydrotherapy and is now studying correspondance courses in Herbalism and Nutrition. She see Colonics not only as an axcellent safe treatment but as an adjunct to Nutrition and education and as a very rewarding therapy for her as a practitioner, as well as for the patient.
